I used to play this a lot in the past, however it hasnt been updated in quite sometime and freezes every time after building cities/monuments. Unplayable.

Freezes up and is unusable.

But I cant get past a round because it freezes at the last step. iPad mini 3.

I bought the app after playing the real game. Every time I push end turn it locks up. I have deleted and reinstalled the app which didnt work. Its sad. I was looking forward to playing it. It cost enough that the basic mechanics should work!

This game is unplayable. It freezes at the end of the round on IOS 9 and hasn’t been updated since 2010. It should not be available for purchase. I reported a problem and requested a refund.

I cant even finish the tutorial because every time I start playing the app locks on the "Development" phase screen. I am really interested in playing through the game, please fix this issue.

As others have mentioned, the game no longer works on the latest version of iOS. When you try to complete the first turn it freezes. The developers website hangs in the browser and appears to be dead. Given that this was last updated over five years ago, Im afraid this app may be dead. If thats the case, it should be removed from the App Store. A shame because it was a good iOS port of the board game. If it gets updated and the developer returns, I would recommend it.

I saw this app and I love the board game. Bought without reading reviews. Dont buy, it locks up. Shame on Apple for not removing from app store.
